To know one’s proficiency level of bahasa Indonesia, we suggest every learner take an assessment test before start. Especially for those who have been spoken Indonesian. From the result of the test, we will know from what level learner must start. Below is the description of every level (click each level to see the details):
Level 1A (Beginner) Non-User: Elementary Proficiency
Upon the completion of Beginner Course, learners will be able to: speak to satisfy basic and immediate survival needs using learned utterances; comprehendutterances thoroughly familiar to them for basic and immediate survival needs; read short and simple texts for basic and immediate survival needs; and writeshort and simple text with reasonable accuracy and coherence.
provides learners with the skills needed to use a very limited range of language for basic and immediate survival needs. The length of the course is approximately 30 sessions.
Level 1B (Post-Beginner)
Upon the completion of Post-Beginner Course, learners will be able to: speak to satisfy basic survival needs and minimum courtesy requirements; comprehend utterances to meet basic survival needs; read simple texts to meet basic survival needs; and write simple texts with reasonable accuracy, coherence and cohesion.’

Level 2A (Pre-Intermediate)
Upon the completion of Pre-Intermediate Course, learners will be able to: speak to satisfy most basic needs and limited social demands; comprehend spoken monologs and dialogs to satisfy most basic needs and limited social demands; read texts on subjects related to their most basic needs; and write simple texts to satisfy most basic needs and limited social demands.
provides learners with the skills needed to use a range of language adequate for short, familiar and non-pressuring communication. The length of the course is approximately 30 sessions.
Level 2B (Intermediate)
Upon the completion of Intermediate Course, learners will be able to: speak the language necessary to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements; comprehend spoken monologs and dialogs in routine social situations and limited work situations; read texts on familiar subjects; and write to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements.

Level 3A (Post-Intermediate)
Upon the completion of Post-Intermediate Course, learners will be able to: speak the language to effectively participate in conversation on practical, sociocultural and professional topics; comprehend spoken monologs and dialogs on practical, sociocultural and professional topics; read simplified essay texts on practical, sociocultural and professional topics; and write simple essay texts on practical, sociocultural and professional topics.
provides learners with the skills needed to use the language effectively in a variety of situations. The length of the course is approximately 30 sessions.
Level 3B (Pre-Advanced)
Upon the completion of Pre-Advanced Course, learners will be able to: speak the language effectively and fluently to participate in conversation on topics of general interest and world affairs; comprehend spoken monologs and dialogs on topics of general interest and on world affairs; read authentic general essay texts on topics of general interest and on world affairs; and write essay texts on topics of general interest and on world affairs.
provides learners with the skills needed to use the language effectively and fluently in a wide variety of situations. The length of the course is approximately 30 sessions.
Level 4 (Advanced)
Upon the completion of Advanced Course, learners will have the following characteristics: speaking proficiency equivalent to that of an educated native speaker; listening proficiency equivalent to that of an educated native speaker; reading proficiency equivalent to that of an educated native speaker; and writing proficiency equivalent to that of an educated native speaker.

TEACHING MATERIALS
Wisma Bahasa has produced standard materials for general purposes and interests in learning bahasa Indonesia. For specific purposes, Wisma Bahasa would be glad to design certain syllabus and to prepare specific learning materials without any additional cost. Students have to fill in the enrollment form as complete as possible in order to enable our Teaching Division preparing the most specific syllabus.
Progress test and Final test are conducted to assess the students’ learning progress. Students report is given for a student after the completion of the training.
A student can obtain learning certificate after completing minimum of 30 sessions.
Furthermore, to the materials we have prepared, we also have an additional CULTURAL PROGRAM to complete the bahasa Indonesia learning experience called Field Trip to:

SCHEDULE
The classes in Wisma Bahasa Bali are conducted in sessions, one session is 90 minutes long and you can choose your schedule based on our available sessions as follows:
- Monday – Friday: session 1, 2, 3, & 4
- Saturday : session 1 & 2
- Sunday : no class
Note:
Session 1: 08.00 – 09.30
Session 2: 10.15 – 11.45
Session 3: 13.00 – 14.30
Session 4: 15.00 – 16.30
Courses can start on any day, however (from Monday to Friday), please advise us as to which dates you would like to enroll at least one week beforehand. As Wisma Bahasa offers flexible programs, you can also choose your preferred topics or focus and your daily schedule.
Class during the weekend or public holiday can be arranged upon request with special arrangement.
Wisma Bahasa does not provide individual replacement class if one of group members is unable to attend the class, the schedule changes should be based on the group agreements and should be followed by the group members.
Payment Methods
The Finance & Administration offices are open for inquiries and services at 08.00 – 16.00, Monday to Friday. Payment for long term lesson paid by individual should be settled maximum monthly on the last Fridays of each month.
Advance payment is required and the payment is not refundable. In case the payment is made by telegraphic transfer, please send us a copy of the remittance.

CLASS LOCATION
The teacher will deliver the lesson at the students’ premises in Canggu, Kuta, Seminyak, Denpasar, and Sanur.
Terms And Conditions
Any class cancellation shall be notified no later than twenty four (24) hours prior to class commencement. Otherwise, one is subject to 50% of charge. Exception will be given to those who are engaged in emergency situation such as being sick, hospitalised, etc.
Both the Students and Wisma Bahasa have the right to terminate the Services Agreement for any reason whatsoever, including ceasing services that are already underway. If the Wisma Bahasa terminates the provision of its service it will make a 100% refund on the remaining sessions. No refunds shall be offered to the Student if the student terminates the agreement, where a service is deemed to have already been provided and is, for all intents and purposes, already underway. If, subsequent to the payment in advance being made, the agreement is terminated by the student before the services are underway, there shall be a refund of 75% for the unused services.
