On July 22, 2009 Wisma Bahasa will have special event. This event is Wisma Bahasa’s 27th anniversary. There are some activities to celebrate it. Below is the list of the proceeding of activities.
1. WRITING COMPETITION (FOR FOREIGNERS)
This competition is for foreigners only. Please submit your script to the committee (Itha) or email to wisba@indosat.net.id at the latest date 24 July 2009.
For Beginner Level:
Themes (select one): Experience living in Jogjakarta, Hobbies, or Tourism Objects. The length of scripts is approximately 300 words.
For Advanced Level:
Themes (select one): Employment in Indonesia, Environment, Education, Election, or Global/world Economic Crisis. The length of scripts is approximately 600 words.
Prize: Free 5 sessions (10 hours) learning Indonesian language at Wisma Bahasa or e-learning (learning Indonesian language online) for those who stay outside Jogja/Indonesia.
2. PYRAMID QUIZ
Between 14 – 16 July 2009, start at 15:00
3. SEMINAR
Tuesday, July 21, 2009, starting 15:00 hours. Place in Wisma Bahasa I
4. TUMPENGAN (a scoop of steamed rice as a single serving)
Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 12:00, in Wisma Bahasa. Tumpengan and birthday celebration.
5. FUTSAL COMPETITION
This competition is for all division in Yayasan Suara Bhakti (Wisma Bahasa BIPA, Wisma Bahasa ED, PeMad, CD, and Suara Pustaka). Thursday, 23 July 2009, at 16:00 – 18:00, in the futsal sporting court RRI Gejayan.
6. FUN BIKE & SOCIAL ACTION
Saturday, 25 July 2009. This is time to share with each other. While biking, we will be visiting students in one of the schools that need assistance.
